Cold forming with dies, plates and punches is a mechanical forming process commonly used to form metal rounds or sheets or alloys in different and specific shapes. It is a forming method suitable for the production of components and small parts for both simple and very complex shapes. The process involves the use of a die for the finished product processing starting from metal wire or plates for sheet metal processing. The molding process is carried by punches that, through a pressure, deform or mold the predefined shape according to the type of die or plate used. The process takes place at relatively low temperatures, usually between 16 and 25 Celsius degrees.
